You do not need to be home for delivery BUT all orders should be retrieved and dealt with as soon as possible. Packages should not sit outside longer than 6-8 hours after delivery. If you retrieve your order within the necessary time window, your order should be refrigerator cold (below 40 degrees Fahrenheit as measured with a food thermometer) or frozen. You can then either defrost and cook as normal or place in freezer for future use.
